Dear Parents:
It is my hope that the summer provided your family time to relax, enjoy and have some fun. The beginning of a new school year provides opportunities and challenges and this year is no exception. As we complete the final hurdle in creating the 12th Grade, we look with promise toward full implementation of a High School environment by September 2010.
I personally am excited to meet each of you and to get to know your children throughout the course of the year. As you may know, our administrative team has been working together since August 13th preparing student schedules and developing policies and procedures to ensure a smooth opening. Although our building hosted the district summer school program this year, our maintenance staff has been working very hard and our building will be ready for student arrival.
Please note that all students will be returning to school on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 for a full day session. School hours are 7:45 a.m. 2:29 p.m.
Please be advised that students will not be permitted in the building before 7:30 a.m.
Along with your support and our commitment to your child's education, we will continue to provide a positive learning environment for ALL students at Riverside High School. Working as partners, with the common belief that all students can and will learn, we will ensure student achievement and academic success.
